I used 3 needles for this case and here’s why:
Each needle leaves a unique pattern!
1) Curved Magnums give an overall airbrushed pattern and creates a soft base of color.
2. 3RL is used to add larger pixels and texture behind sparse brow hair.
3. The 1RL provides precision and control as a last step to blending shading and dusting the brow edge.
Also for stubborn areas that need just a little pointillism.
Several artists work with multiple needles with great results and in some cases save time.

The Permanent Lip Blushing technique with soft borders on the first visit allows for color flexibility over the previous faded color.
Lips do great with this less is more approach with minimal swelling for a day.

The technique controls how much ink is delivered and this can be a light natural application or with more passes the ink builds up to a lipstick effect.
Fresh ink always looks more vibrant than the muted healed.

In my opinion, these healed brows need a little more and that’s what follow ups are for!
⬅️Swipe to see the areas where I suggested to add more color.
✨If you have hair in the bulb let it be natural.
✨Under the bridge needs more texture (either a couple hair strokes or a slightly darker pixels)
✨The arch can be softly enhanced with more color.
✨The tail can be extended.
These can be pain points if overly done so I still, after 20 years, take a conservative approach with my clients who like a natural look.

This Lip Blush color is tattooed with a medium saturation of ink.
H O W ? ?
🎨 Using variety of needles, blending, layering, and combining various hand speed and movements with techniques such as brushing, pendulum, pointillism, stippling, shading, and lining help me CONTROL the sheerness and saturation level of lip color. Not to mention my ink dilutions and my machine speed too!
A medium saturation lip blush color shows slightly more than a light lip blush and it lasts longer. I typically don’t recommend a very saturated lip because too much ink in the skin simply doesn’t look natural or age that desirable.
👄Choosing colors similar to your own lip color look the most natural.
👄 Lip Blush lasts about 18 months- 5 years.
👄Please send lip photos prior to your procedure for an evaluation.

The process involves
🩷Consult- size, color, placement
🩷Tattoo-with custom blended inks and needles creating depth and shading for a natural result
🩷Healing- couple weeks reveals the softer color
🩷Follow Up- usually 1-2 visits, 6 weeks apart
🩷Color lasts 2-5 years as fading occurs
Some clients return or some don’t mind the fading and softening.

Lower Liner Only?
If you are choosing I would say go for upper first then do lowers or do them both at same.
The lowers show and the options can be dark and defined, light in color but defined or a bit smudged but still on thin side.
Most importantly is be 💯 percent sure that you like the lowers and try makeup first if you can’t decide.
This client opted for lowers and loved that so we did the uppers too.
I know my style is minimal for eyeliners, but as you can see, there’s a nice big difference and it looks classy with liner tucked at the lash base.

Have you ever noticed the differences in a 3 Round Needle?
Are you leading with 1 needle or 2 needles?
Not only can the needle spacing be unique to each needle manufacturer but the needle arrangement is to consider as well.
✔️If you're trying to create a very thin line on the inner portion of the eyeliner, or a crisp line for lips, it’s most helpful to recognize exactly how your needles are configured so you can be precise when tattooing.
My preference can vary but I typically like to see 1 needle on the top and 2 on the bottom of the cartridge tip. This arrangement allows for precise control and crisp lines.
🔎If you use #tinadaviesprofessional .2503RL needles, upon inspection you will see 1 needle on top, 2 on the lower. 💫
